2 DOWN, 10 TO GO

Hey!
Last month I released my first Year Book! You've maybe heard of it, maybe not. It's the best of all the photos I took in 2011. As picked my me. People talked about it ( NOW,Resonacity,Alan Cross), and people came out to the launch party at Parts and Labor. I had a gallery showing to go along with the book launch, which showcased ten 16" x 20"'s and two 30" x 30" framed prints.
I also created a permanent instillation in The Shop of about 1000 of my favorite photos from 2011. With a little help I got them all wheat pasted up in 2 hours. Some giant prints and some colour. Photos to come!

I was also in a curated photography competition a couple weeks ago, put on by Analogue Gallery here in Toronto.It was called Sound Image and focused on live music photos. 2 of mine were selected, one of The Blacl Lips and one of The Dead Weather.I didn't win, but whatever!
Lastly, coming in the next couple weeks will be the music video I shot for my pals TEENANGER at a cottage outside Huntsville, ON. We recreated an Aztec fire ceremony. We burned more wood than you ever have and checked out of our minds.
My next project is prisms.

LEAGUE YEAR BOOK/AV CLUB TORONTO
NOVEMBER 2011
Hello from a winter wunderland!
Lots of super fun things are happening over at League Central. First off, my 1 year anniversary is coming up! To celebrate, I'm publishing a special edition of the League Books, entitled "League Year Book". It's a collection of my ultimate most favorite shots from 2011. The little beauty will be the size of a 7" record, super colourful, and hardcover.
I'm planning a wild ( hopefully) event to launch the book in mid January, at Parts and Labor. You can pre-order the book now if you like, check out the "LEAGUE BOOKS" section, and click on the "$40" thing.
Also!! My buds over at AV CLUB TORONTO wrote a piece about me for their illustrious blog. It's pretty rad! You can also sneak peak a few of the photos that'll be in the year book.
Oh yeah! Hold up a sec.. you shoud make sure that next month you grab a copy of RAZORCAKE,the incredible DIY punk mag based outta L.A! Why? Well, cause my photos of White Lung, the crazy energetic punk band from Vancouver, are gonna be featured with the interview of them! Dig it!

Ever wonder what makes me tick? What my morning after ritual is? Who I think I am, and what for? Well, none of those questions are answered in this piece about me, but it's still something to read nonetheless.
I'm a big fan of all the guys over at Death.ly, and their work too. I take it as a high honor that they asked me some questions. There's also some of my favorite photos along with the interview.
